Kids in Christ
Every Sunday morning, with high energy and a love for God and kids, Ms. Kim ministers to the children. With fun themes, and games all tying into Scripture, Sunday mornings are packed with as much God and fun as possible. With help from her husband, Bro. Kevin and from older students, Ms. Kim and her team pour into the children and are seeing God do great things in the children's lives. If you have kids ages 4-12, they need to be a part of what's going on in Kid's in Christ. Ms. Kim has a Bachelor of Science from McNeese University and a Teachers Certificate for Pre-K through 3rd grade. She is currently working on her credentials with the Assemblies of God and is working on her Masters in Administration from McNeese.
We teach children about Jesus in an age appropriate and fun manner using games, puppets, songs, prizes, snacks, human videos, hand bells, skits and outreaches.
We team up with the church to minister to our church members and the community as a whole for yearly outreaches.
We have the Church Picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, the Out of School Party, the Kid’s Crusade, Camps, the Back to School Party, the Back Pack Outreach (school supplies for those in need), the Thanksgiving party with the native American guest speaker, the Christmas Gift collection for the Little Lambs Ministry (children who have a parent is in a Louisiana prison system), the Christmas Presents for those children in need, the Kids in Christ Christmas Party, the Birthday Party for Jesus, and the Staff Road Trip !!!
