Sunday School

Every Sunday morning we have adults, college students, high school boys & girls, middle school boys & girls, and young children come to Sunday School wanting to learn about God’s Word. Sunday School is such a large ministry that it makes a great impact on everyone who enters into a Sunday School classroom. Sunday School is about discipleship, Sunday School is about fellowship, and Sunday School is about growing and learning about Christ. Sunday School is more than just another classroom, it is where fundamental truths are being taught (1)The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2)The One True God (3)Man His Fall & Redemption (4)The Salvation of Man and so much more. In a Sunday School classroom, you will learn that the Sunday School teachers are prayed up, excited and ready to teach whatever the Lord has prepared for them. The Sunday School teachers not only pray for the Lord to use them is a might way, but they pray for each lesson they teach, each person that enters into their classroom, they pray over the entire room they teach in, they pray for all the Sunday School teachers & everyone who attends & for those who don’t attend Sunday School. The Sunday School teachers develop plans, as well as strategies that will be most beneficial for their classrooms. The Sunday School Teachers make such a hugh INVESTMENT into Sunday School. You see in a Sunday School classroom, Jesus is the teacher. The Sunday School teachers are guided and directed by the Holy Spirit. When an individual attends Sunday School on a regular basis, the Holy Spirit starts to do a miraculous change inside of us that we don’t want to miss Sunday School and we are looking forward to what the next week will bring. Attending a Sunday School class on a regular basis will bring an individual to a deeper walk w/the Lord. The directives of the Great Commission are quite clear. We are all to "go to all people everywhere," we are to "make disciples" and we are to "teach them" His Word. Sharing the "Good News" about what we have found in Jesus Christ and in Sunday school is something that our Lord expects each of us to do. It is our job as Christians to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19 & 20), by telling others about Jesus Christ and working to teach them his Word through the Sunday school.
